Researchers from Loma Linda University had students eat chocolate and answer a perceived stress scale questionnaire every two weeks in order to investigate the effects chocolate had on stress levels.

At the end of the study, not only did all participants feel less stressed, but they also felt happier overall. If this isn’t enough to convince you that eating chocolate is great, scientists have also confirmed that dark chocolate can help prevent certain cancers, promote cardiac health, and counteract high blood pressure.

Color is important because it helps us to have better memories.

According to ColorCom “color helps us store and process images more efficiently than colorless (black and white) scenes”, therefore we remember colorful images better.

Because of color’s connection to our memories, we also- naturally- connect color to our feelings and emotions. (Yellow is such a happy color right? Or loud?) Designers and artist learn from training how to use color to set an emotional tone for their work. The color palette for a piece of artwork is usually the first thing that is thought about, usually before any words are written. A picture is worth a thousand of those things, right?

Colors are bonded with feelings and emotions.

Some popular cat facts:

1. Cats are independent

One of the best things about cats is that they are very independent creatures. Unlike dogs, who require quite a high level of attention each day, cats are quite happy to have time to themselves. In fact, cats will sleep for about 15 hours a day so you don’t have to worry about them being too bored when you’re at work.

2. Cats are quiet

Even the quietest bark will likely be much louder than the most insistent meowing. Depending on the cat, you may need to worry about other sounds such as them knocking things off of surfaces or running around at top speed, but they are still likely to be more quiet overall.

3. Cats are good for your health

Studies have shown that cats have a calming effect on their owners, from the soothing action of petting to purring being an aid in falling asleep. Cats can even play a part in lowering your blood pressure and risk of a heart attack. One 10-year study has even shown that cat owners were 30% less likely to die of a heart attack or stroke than non-cat owners.

Conclusion: You are pawsome! ❤
